It's 3 weeks now since I started with my professional career!! The field that I yearned for the past 8 years!!! Software Engineer!! Though it sounds quite normal in today's world, it was then regarded as a much coveted job which sowed seeds in me... Today I'm proud that I achieved my dream, aim, goal, whatever..!!
On July 2nd, 2007.. I joined Starent Networks! As my senior said in his speech during the interview process.. 3 things are really good in this company!! 3 things which every software professional would long for!!
1. People - people are really good.. The way they treat the freshers.. the way they guide us.. the way they move with us!! Amazing.. Even the most experienced and most senior people move very casually with all of us.. I like this kinda work environment a lot!!
2. Work - working on cutting edge technology is really great!! that too working on something that is compatible with the specifications that are going to be used only after 2-3 years and by millions and billions of people is really amazing!!
3. Salary - I'm yet to receive my first month's salary!! anyways.. the salary is as good as any other leading software company!!
I find myself lucky to be in a good and demanding field!! I should put all my efforts and take the best out of me!!
