Pesum Padam

I conscientiously avoid myself from watching this worst show! A reviewer who doesn't even understand certain things in a movie, reviews it!! Irritating!! [Courtesy: When she referred the high-intensity sound waves as ghosts while reviewing Aayirathil Oruvan, that showed her understanding!!]

And it so happened that while switching channels, I came across this. And she was discussing about 'My Name is Khan'. I was listening to her blabbering. And there came the highlight spot!! While broadcasting a scene from the movie, these [hope-all-knows] TV Channel guys, showed a poor quality clipping. Am damn sure it wasn't a original print - but taken from the usual Rs. 35 /- DVD available all over Bangalore!!! :O :O :O

Cmon man!!! When the government is forcing people not to watch movies in pirated DVDs.. can the TV channels use it??? It is better to stop things at TV Channels level first before going down to Mr. Public directly!!!!!

I remember Radio Mirchi's RJs announcing, "as we haven't procured rights to broadcast this particular movie's songs, we aren't doing so now. please stay in tune for few more days". That's how channels should be!!!!

P.S.: I couldn't get a recorded video of that show. :(

Empathy

A real bad news - Fire broke out at Carlton Towers, Bangalore.
A guy, Kiran Jonnalagadda, one of the victims, was tweeting about it from the spot.

The saddest part was how it was interpreted by others!!!!

Maybe someone can call APJ A K and ask him for ideas on how to rescue the Carlton Towers victims. Or should we wait for 2020? #Bangalore

Social Circle ??

I was puzzled to see this result at the end! Coz I never came across such a testing feature of Google in any of the blogs!!! :O :O :O


Curiosity drove me to these Links: Social Circle and Social Content.

Am I trapped?? They are listing so many things there!! And all my accounts are almost linked together!! They show my blogs connected to Flickr accounts and vice versa!!! Am I really getting trapped????

P.S.: I was told I am not a social person!! Will this atleast prove that I'm social?? :P :P

How To Become Popular?

The most interesting question for which every techie/nerd tries to find an answer is "How to become popular?"

Thanks to Web 2.0! The answer is so simple these days.

1. Start a blog! And ramble whatever you want to!! There will be few followers.. few commenters.. few counter bloggers!! And try to plagiarize content from other blogs. You can be successful easily. Or.. start writing poems that none hardly understands!! Thanks to Selva, Thamizh a.ka. tamil (pronounced as dumeel) is getting revamped and stressed these days!!

2. Tweet! You woke up? Tweet! You brushed your teeth? Tweet! Oh! you didn't take bath? Tweet.. so that your teammates can stand at a distance!! #iPad? #iTampon? tut-tut-tuveet!! You find your computer didn't boot? Tweet!! Oh! you can't do that!! :(

3. Open fortune cookies in Facebook! Or.. check for your horoscope!! Who knows.. you might win a lottery even!! And girls.. do you know to cook? No probs! There's an app for it? You love gardening? There's an app for it! And.. people can create awareness as well!! Goddddd!!!

4. Buy a camera. Take pics. Upload it! Join groups! And make people comment on yours!! Doesn't mean that your photo should convey something!! Just a photo a day!! Oh ya!! When you reach the limits of an addict, you can start a 365!! And ask people if your forehead has pimples or your fingernails are properly cut.. as you wouldn't find time to see the mirror!! :D

As this progresses.. you'll subscribe to posts. Reading them all throughout the day doing your stipulated work at times!! Start commenting on other's posts. Comment on someone's picture just to get a comment from him / her. Comment on someone else's status! and RT to @someone!!

And.. as time goes on, you'll find yourself to be the content provider and the content receiver!! Web 2.0!! And.. you'll find your entire day going on this lengthy process!!

And someday when you google.. you'll find where all you have your footprints on the net!! :D

P.S.: Ohh... you work for a company right?? I forgot!!! :( :(
